QSPECT is an open-source Image Reconstruction application for SPECT data. It includes Maximum Likelihood Expectation Maximization (MLEM) and Ordered Subsets Expectation Maximization (OSEM) as well as a suitable Graphical User Interface (GUI) application. QSPECT runs on Linux and can import directly ROOT files from GATE simulations, create projection files and sinograms. In addition, QSPECT is able to store and visualize reconstructed images. The developed software can be downloaded and freely used. A setup program has been constructed and a manual has been written and is updated. In addition the code of the program is available for changes/improvements.
