Research Software for Multi-Tracer PET Imaging and Kinetic Analysis
mfEVolve™ is a research-only software tool designed to facilitate multi-tracer and quantitative dynamic PET research studies by providing tools for processing, analyzing, and quantifying PET images.
- research-only software tool enabling multi-tracer PET studies
- research image database to store and organize research data supporting the DICOM, Analyze, IMX NIFTI and flat raw binary data, organization by custom groups , view/edit of DICOM attributes and de-identification of clinical data ,
- Oncology Module for multi-tracer PET Design and Processing,
- Kinetics Module for fast and robust compartment model fits with separable parameter space kinetic models of up to 3 tissue compartments and 5 rate parameters for each tracer, simultaneous fits in multi-tracer studies for up to 5 tracers, exhaustive search option for guaranteed best fits, full parametric image fits in seconds (for some model configurations),
- Image Display and Visualization of 2D and 3D volumetric images supporting Maximum Intensity Projection (MIP), zoom display with pixel replication/interpolation and image crosshair for rapid co-localization across all three dimensions in space,
- Image Overlay and rigid/non-rigid co-registration using linked or separate display color maps and fine-tuning of image alignment,
- Image Analysis Tool to draw and save 2D and 3D Regions-of-Interest (ROIs) and extract ROI statistics, measure time-activity curves (TACs) and display horizontal, vertical and temporal image profiles
- Dynamic Image Visualization to rapidly move across time frames and display (i) time-frame averages and single frames, (ii) early- or late-frame averages to visualize uptake and retention phases, and (iii) overlays of timeframe ranges to identify and manage patient motion during acquisition,
- Image Manipulations including shift, shear ad rotation in 3 image planes, adjustment of pixel size and slice thickness, bilinear and cubic interpolation, application or removal of decay correction, smoothing with a variety of filters an saving of the processed DICOM output images.
